The Meeting will focus on new ideas, models, devices and applications,
related to the role of optics in information society. The Meeting will bring
together acknowledged scientists, researchers, engineers, and students,
involved in development of the topics, listed below.
- Physics of Optoinformatics
- Optics in Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Signal and Image Processing
- Holography, Quantum Holography, Digital Holography, Applications of Holography, Recording Media
- Bio-Optics, Bio-Photonics, High Resolution Imaging, Vision and Photoreceptors
- Quantum Optics and Quantum Information
- Optics and Photonics Technologies
- Optical Microscopy and Metrology
- Applications of Optoinformatics
- Information Photonics Using Novel Light States (Ultra-Fast, Ultra-Localized), Femtosecond Optics
- Education in Optoinformatics
- Other topics, related to the role of optics in information society
Invited and contributed talks and posters will present ample opportunity for
emphasizing common intellectual themes and interests and will provide a
comprehensive review of the state of the art in the optoinformatics and
information photonics field. Special attention will be paid to students'
participation - special reduced fee for students will be established.
VII Students Chapters Meeting will be organised within the framework of the Meeting.
All accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Conference.
The authors of a number of papers will be invited by the Editorial Boards of the journals
Optical Memory & Neural Network (Information Optics), Optics and
Spectroscopy and Journal of Optical Technology to submit their papers for
publication in the journals.
